Heather Roy is a local artist that has many years experience teaching children’s art.
She studied visual art at Dawson College in Montreal, Toronto School of Art, and Haliburton School of Fine Arts. Her passion is in finding new ways to express deep feelings and complex ideas through art making. She finds inspiration in helping young people develop a love affair with art.
She has worked in a variety of media, but always comes back to oil painting as the most subtle and satisfying way to communicate. Heather is a new member of the Colborne Gallery, and her work is exhibited there.
