with Simon Jensen
Saturday, March 7, 2020
10am - 3:30pm
In this one-day workshop you will be introduced to pen and ink drawing, as well as brush and ink wash. Included will be demonstrations of how to create form with hatching and cross-hatching, textures for architectural and landscape drawing, and the use of dry-brush for variety.
Discussion will include the most effective types of paper, and the relative merits of felt-tipped pens compared to traditional pen and ink.
The instructor is local artist and teacher Simon Jensen, who combines thirty years of teaching with many more years as a practicing artist. You can see his work here.
